About New Fairfield Dental

We consider our team to be a family and ethics are very important to us. Our goal is to work together to provide you with the most current and appropriate personalized treatment possible. We will teach you preventive care that will help you achieve ongoing oral health. We promise to deliver to each of you, the best dentistry available. Each one of us wishes to have an ongoing relationship with you to assure that you will understand all your options for treatment.

We will take all the time you need to explain your treatment plan and to alleviate any fears or doubts until you are as comfortable with your treatment as we are. If you should ever require EMERGENCY care during off hours, we are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

DR. JOSHUA QUINBY

A Massachusetts native, Dr Quinby grew up on the North Shore of Boston and is the elder of two brothers. The son-in-law of Dr. Steve Hanrahan, Josh is a husband to his wife Wendy and father of 4 children and 2 puppies. He has a love for family and for the outdoors.

Dr. Quinby earned his BA from the University of Vermont in 2000, after which he worked in the tourism and the Biotechnology industries for a number of years. Descending from a family immersed in medicine, and unfulfilled with corporate employment, Josh pursued his desire to become a dentist. Dr. Quinby earned his DMD from Boston University School of Dental Medicine where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and served as president of his class for all four years of attendance. While a student at BU, Josh was repeatedly asked by the Dean and by his faculty to represent the student body and the BU School of Dental Medicine on various committees and at multiple school events.

At BU, Dr. Quinby was awarded the Pierre Fauchard Academy Scholarship, the Department of General Dentistry Implantology award and the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain – Outstanding student award. He also took time to attend a mission trip to Mexico to treat the under-served.

He started as an associate with Dr. Hanrahan in July of 2014. He looks forward to developing lifelong relationships with his patients, contributing to the community, and continuing the high standard of care that Dr. Hanrahan has always provided.

AMARA, Front Desk

I have been with New Fairfield Dental for 8 years. I enjoy working with our patients to make it easy as possible to receive the best dental care. Whether it’s scheduling an appointment, handling insurance or answering questions, I am here to help with our patients needs. When I’m not helping patients, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three children.

MEGAN, Dental Assistant & Front Desk

Megan brings 18 years of dental assisting experience to our team and is certified in the state of CT in dental radiography. Megan enjoys the people most of all and strives to build relationships with her patients. She finds their trust important and rewarding. Getting to know patients and their families and helping them have a positive dental experience is what brings Meghan to work each day.

In addition to hiking around CT’s state parks in her downtime, Megan loves to cook and eat!

TRISH, Registered Dental Hygienist

Trish has been with New Fairfield Dental for over 30 years. She graduated from Fairleigh Dickenson University, graduating top of her class and has been at New Fairfield Dental for her entire Dental Hygiene career. She enjoys educating her patients and providing them with a positive dental experience. She takes pride in contributing to their dental and overall health. Her patients have become family to her over the years. Outside of work you will likely see her running or biking on the roads of New Fairfield. Above all she treasures the time spent with her husband, three sons and family.

JENNIFER, Registered Dental Hygienist

Jennifer joined New Fairfield Dental in 2014, by way of 10 years living in Northern New Jersey. After moving back to her home state of CT to raise her children. She has over 20 years experience with a degree from the University Of Bridgeport. She also carries a B.S from the University of CT. She enjoys getting to educate her patients on oral conditions and getting to know them. She lives in Bethel with her husband, two girls and dog, Kobe. When she is not taking her girls to softball and tennis, she loves to travel and play tennis herself.
