At New Fairfield Dental, we are committed to providing personalized dental care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. Our team works closely with every patient to create treatment plans focused on long term oral health, comfort, and confidence.
We believe dental care should feel approachable and supportive. From routine preventive care to cosmetic and restorative dentistry, our goal is to help patients feel informed, relaxed, and cared for throughout every visit.
Our office combines modern dental technology with a warm, family friendly atmosphere designed to help patients of all ages feel at ease.
If you should ever require EMERGENCY care after-hours, we are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

At New Fairfield Dental, our experienced dental team is dedicated to creating a welcoming and positive experience for every patient who visits our office.
Dr. Joshua Quinby
Dr. Quinby earned his BA from the University of Vermont in 2000, after which he worked in the tourism and the Biotechnology industries for a number of years. Descending from a family immersed in medicine, and unfulfilled with corporate employment, he pursued his desire to become a dentist. Dr. Quinby earned his DMD from Boston University School of Dental Medicine where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and served as president of his class for all four years of attendance. While a student at BU, Dr. Quinby was repeatedly asked by the Dean and by his faculty to represent the student body and the BU School of Dental Medicine on various committees and at multiple school events. At BU, Dr. Quinby was awarded the Pierre Fauchard Academy Scholarship, the Department of General Dentistry Implantology award and the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain – Outstanding student award. He also took time to attend a mission trip to Mexico to treat the under-served. Dr. Quinby attended his General Practice Residency at Danbury Hospital and started as an associate at New Fairfield Dental in 2014. He enjoys consistently attending continuing education classes to learn cutting edge technological advances in dentistry and continuing lifelong relationships with his patients, contributing to the community, and continuing the high standard of care that New Fairfield Dental has always provided. Outside of dentistry Dr. Quinby enjoys spending time with his family and participating in outdoor activities.
Dr. Alexandra Halpin
New Fairfield Dental was thrilled to announce the addition of Dr. Alexandra Halpin to our practice in August 2025. She joins Dr. Quinby in providing exceptional patient care. Originally from Yorktown, New York, Dr. Alexandra Halpin combines creativity, precision, and compassion in her approach to dentistry. The first doctor in her family, she was drawn to the profession as a way to blend her love for art and working with her hands with a desire to build meaningful relationships with patients. Dr. Halpin earned her D.D.S. from New York University College of Dentistry, where she completed an elective in Special Patient Care and served as a peer mentor, admissions ambassador, and student representative. She was also selected for NYU’s Global Health Care Leaders Program in Florence, Italy. She holds a Biology degree with a Chemistry minor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she was a Division I student-athlete and two-time undefeated national champion in field hockey. She also competed in Division I Lacrosse and trained with the USA Field Hockey U19 and U21 National Teams. Dr. Halpin completed her General Practice Residency at Danbury Hospital in Connecticut, the same program completed by Dr. Quinby. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Halpin enjoys playing guitar and piano, cooking, traveling, fishing, and mentoring young athletes and students.
